Please follow these
instructions to assign your password for the new NAWBO website:
- Go to www.nawbomadison.org
- Enter your email address
(the one I used to send the email to you) in the login box in the upper
right-hand corner of the page
- Click “Forgot password”
- You’ll receive an email containing
a link for assigning your password. Click on the link, enter your password
twice and submit. You should get a message that your password has been
successfully changed.
- Go to www.nawbomadison.org and login in
with your email address and password – click “remember me” if you want
your computer to remember your email address and password
- You’ll be asked to accept the
Terms of Use – click the box to accept
- You’re in!
How to update your
profile:
Click
on the “View profile” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

You’ll see the information that will be shown as your
profile.
If you’d like to make changes to your profile or the
directory listing text that shows underneath your name in the Members Directory
page, click on the “Edit profile” button.

Profile information – feel free to change any of your
information.
Image – If you had a photo on the old website, it should be
here. You may upload a new photo or change the one that’s there. First, please resize
your photo to be as close to 110x110 pixels as possible. Then click the
“Browse” button and select the photo file on your computer.
Directory listing text – please keep this short as it will
be shown on the Members page. Your company description which is shown on your
profile page can be more detailed.
Save your changes.
How to update your Access
by others:
Click on “Access by others”. This describes who can see your
information. You have the choice of Anybody – meaning the general public when
they come to the website, Members only when they’re logged in, or No access to
anyone. The filled in circle is the default. Click the appropriate circle if you’d
like to change the default setting for any field.
Save your changes.

How to update your Subscriptions:
Click on “Subscriptions” to change the default settings for
receiving emails from NAWBO.
Save your changes

How to post to the
blog:
- Click on “blog” in the main navigation bar.
- You can add blog posts by clicking the [Add
post] button.
- Post author is determined automatically from the
current user logged in
- Post date/time default to current date/time and
can be edited as needed.
- Blog post abstract is automatically created from
your full post and is displayed on the blog page.
- Blog page has an RSS feed so that people can
subscribe to your blog with RSS readers
- Commenting and creating new posts by members
requires login with valid member credentials (to avoid spamming etc.)
